YOUNG AS WE ARE

Young as we are, we think life is easy

its ups and downs yet we cannot see.

Young as we are, we say it's unfair

'cause we think, we've got no share.

Young as we are, we tend to reason out

when made to shut up, we pout.

You as we are, we want to be free

and do things which are silly.

Young as we are, we take everything for granted 

though they've given all we wanted.

Young as we are, we turn to a friend

who promised he'll be there till the end.

Young as we are, we never gave importance

to our life of a never ending dance.

Young as we are, we keep our feelings

'cause we think it's embarrassing.

Young as we are, we keep on changing our mind

but isn't that why we're one of a kind?

Young as we are, we find it hard to say we love someone

'cause we'll be teased by everyone.

Young as we are, why don't we just be happy?

smile even when we're lonely.
