YOUNG AS WE ARE

Young as we are, we think life is easy

its ups and downs yet we cannot see.

Young as we are, we say it's unfair

'cause we think, we've got no share.

Young as we are, we tend to reason out

when made to shut up, we pout.

You as we are, we want to be free

and do things which are silly.

Young as we are, we take everything for granted 

though they've given all we wanted.

Young as we are, we turn to a friend

who promised he'll be there till the end.

Young as we are, we never gave importance

to our life of a never ending dance.

Young as we are, we keep our feelings

'cause we think it's embarrassing.

Young as we are, we keep on changing our mind

but isn't that why we're one of a kind?

Young as we are, we find it hard to say we love someone

'cause we'll be teased by everyone.

Young as we are, why don't we just be happy?

PUSO

Puso ay patuloy na naghihintay

sa araw ng pagdating ng pag-ibig na tunay.

Ilang beses na ring tumibok ito

ngunit lagi rin namang nabibigo.

Puso'y hindi mapakali

ano bang dapat gawin upang ika'y mahuli?

Ngayo'y handa na muling magmahal

sa pag-ibig muling susugal.

Puso'y naghihintay pa rin

na sana ako ay iyong ibigin.

Patuloy na umaasang ika'y matagpuan

at sana ay magmahalan.

Puso ay naghahanap ng pag-ibig na totoo

at ng taong hindi manloloko.

Sana kapag ika'y nahanap na

sa puso'y ako lamang walang iba.

PASASALAMAT SA ISANG KAIBIGAN

Sa maikling panahon na ating pinagsamahan,

masasabi kong ika'y isang tunay na kaibigan.

Sa lahat ng oras laging nariyan,

at sa lahat ng bagay maaasahan.

Kahit minsan parang lahat ako'y tinalikuran,

nagpapasalamat ako'y di mo iniwan.

Balikat mo'y laging handa upang masandalan,

ni minsa'y di napagod na ako'y pakinggan.

Magkasama tayo sa mga kalokohan,

hanggang sa mga kaseryosohan.

Lagi tayong nagtatawanan,

kahit pa sa buhay ay nahihirapan.

Kapag ako ay nangangailangan,

ikaw ay nariyan upang ako'y tulungan.

Napakaganda ng ating samahan,

na sana'y magtagal magpakailanman.

Salamat at ika'y naging kaibigan,

pangakong habang buhay na mananatili sa puso't isipan.

HOW I WISH

I was lying on my bed

dreaming of this guy whose emotions seem dead.

I don't know how he caught my attention,

one thing's for sure, he is an inspiration.

He knocks me off my feet when he smiles,

dazzles me with those soulful eyes.

He makes my heart jump with his sweet voice,

running away is my only choice.

But he will never see me,

for he is no longer free.

How I wish I was she,

spending time with him happily.

My illusions will never come true,

'cause someone has taken him too.

How I wish he was mine,

'cause with him everything will be fine.

How I wish I could see him smiling,

for soon he will be leaving.

How I wish I had that one chance,

of sharing with him a last dance.

How I wish he was here,

to comfort me from my fears.

How I wish he was here sitting,

listening to my heart that's singing.

How I wish he knew,

that my love was true.

How I wish he felt the same way,

but I'm just a friend anyway.

How I wish I was there to see him go,

even if it would hurt me so.

How I wish I'd let him know,

that I'll be with him wherever he may go.

LIFELESS

I feel so down lately

the fire in my heart was gone so suddenly

I've got a lot of responsibilities to carry

and hard choices to make

there's a need to find that strength

to start that fire once again

and keep it burning for who knows how long.

Why did you have to make me fall

when you're not going to catch me at all?

Why didn't you tell me you've got no feelings for me?

You know your silence pierced my heart so deeply.

Could you make my life less miserable somehow?

But now letting go I don't know how.

Are you content of seeing me writhe in pain

or glad as you watch me go insane?

I've started to hate myself 'cause no matter what I do

damn, can't stop my heart from loving you.

Guess what I feel for you is strong

even if everyone thinks it's all wrong.

I don't care 'cause from her I won't take you away

'cause even if I do, nothing's going to change anyway.

I'll just sit by and watch you have fun with her

believe me, this makes it much easier.

To see from a distance, my favourite smile

makes me forget the pain even for a while.

Go on, just keep smiling

'cause it's the only thing that keeps this heart beating.
